Teen’s loose weight – The healthy way!!!

Do you wish to loose the excess on your body in a healthy way, dear teenager? Take the first practical step towards this; by setting realistic goals. To loose weight in a healthy way is hard work no doubt but permanent, takes a longer span of time but worthwhile.  No shortcuts for healthy weight loss.

Teenagers are naive because of which they get attracted to unhealthy ways of loosing those few kilos. So it’s imperative for you teens to cultivate a specified well planned weight loss program. 

An easy way out for many teenagers is to consume weight loss pills, which in the long run; not only prove very dangerous but pretty useless as well.  Initially it works wonders because you may actually loose a few pounds which could have been an elimination of excess of water accumulated in the body; however the fat in the body remains intact. This kind of weight loss programs are not dependable because no sooner have you lost weight you will regain it in double. 

You don’t have to look like a celebrity that is impractical, mainly because they can afford professionals at their side to take care of their diet and exercises.  Be reasonable and have your own ideal weight loss program that suits your body type.

Dieting is not for you teenagers! For a healthy you, follow these tips:

 Eat healthy and the right food
 Drink lots of water.
 Say “NO” to sweetened beverages
 No to Diet or “low-calorie” drinks as they contain fructose which makes you want sugar. 
 Replace white flour with whole wheat flour
 Use Whole-grain as it contains low fat and high protein and fiber
 Good Exercise is a healthy and permanent weight loss solution.
 Weight training is the best exercise for quick weight loss.

Exercising is important because it is an energizer and supplies oxygen to the bones, this energy in turn helps you burn the fat in your body which makes you look healthy and beautiful. The added bonus of good and proper exercise is good sleep.

The Office Workers Guide to Nutritional Health and Wellbeing (the MonaVie way)

Sitting around for long periods at a time also puts strain on various parts of the body. If you’re working environment is not well designed and ergonomic you run the risk of developing conditions like RSI and misalignment of the spine. Then of course there is eyestrain. Office workers suffer more headaches and migraines than any other group due to eyestrain. Your first solution to these problems should always be to insist on safe working conditions. Taking regular breaks and eating well all help to minimize these risks too.

The afternoon slump: How many of us race into the office first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee in hand? Re-vitalised we set to work, grab another quick coffee at break, have a quick lunch (was it healthy?) and race on to meet that deadline. Come 3 or 4 in the afternoon our bodies say – Enough! What do we do? Grab another quick coffee, or if we a more sensible an apple or health bar and carry on.

After a while all this stress and those darned free radicals build up and catch up with us. We have no energy left for ‘fun’, and we start to feel old. Odd aches and pains set in, we don’t sleep well and all that is left is work.

5 Diets you need to know
